In this workshop we explore the possible links between words and images.

We wonder if they engage in dialogue, how they do so, and for what purpose. Sometimes, writing allows us to reveal something of what lies hidden behind a photograph.

We work with images provided by the participants: photographs, illustrations, collages, or archival material. We read different female authors for inspiration and as starting points. We write a lot and incorporate creative tools to expand our practice.

The aim of the workshop is to loosen up the hand and the gaze , to stop and think about the creative practice and the act of writing, without demands or closed results.

In the original version, over six sessions, we delved into the themes proposed by each participant's writing. We shared what we wrote and opened opportunities for presentation and feedback to explore connections and begin to find the narrative thread that runs through each process.

In the petit version , we meet for a single intensive session to explore, ask questions, and discover what has not yet been said. A creative ritual that serves as an impetus to continue creating and deepening what has been explored.

This workshop is for anyone interested in writing and its connection to imagery. No prior experience or self-identification as a photographer or writer is necessary. Just a desire to share a creative moment and let yourself be guided by the process.
